Big Skies Festival 2018

Services: Strategy, Communications, Digital & Social Media

The Brief: To plan and execute the full digital marketing campaign and Brisbane metro public relations strategy for the Western Downs Big Skies Festival. Made4media also had to plan and create a digital strategy including full social media implementation for Big Skies in the two months leading up to the festival. Working alongside the Western Downs Regional Council, made4media was to engage media in metro and regional areas.

The Execution: During the months leading up to the festival, made4media created and implemented a social media strategy designed to drive awareness for the festival. Brisbane metro media was engaged by a media drop which included a small basket with homemade jams from the Western Downs region, and information on the Big Skies festival. This media drop prompted the Channel 7 Queensland Weekender team to film the Western Downs region along with running a competition giveaway online.
