PART ONE

The Brief: Create a grassroots promotional campaign to promote the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Pacific Rim’, specifically targeting young males 12-14years who are involved in sporting/community clubs.

The Execution: Made4media identified appropriate organisations throughout Queensland to reach the target demographic outlined in the brief. The organisations distributed limited edition Pacific Rim collector-cards to their networks, which were tradable among the target market and created hype for the film.

16 major organisations participated in the campaign, with merchandise distributed directly to 3600 members of the target market.

PART TWO

The Brief: Secure a minimum of 2 x impactful and targeted local media promotions with male focused press i.e. sports/auto/technology supplements, website/radio shows. Target 18-25 year old males positioning Pacific Rim as a must-see action blockbuster.

The Execution: Three media promotions (two print and one radio) were secured, with a total combined value of $6,300 not including EDM and social media coverage.
